We’re All Mad Here
Nothing in wonderland is what it seems to be, or what it’s meant to be. It is just like life, obscure and incomprehensible. Without there being a Cheshire cat I think we can all say there is madness in this world, whether it be in close proximity or not. It doesn’t have to look like the mad hatter to be absolutely crazy.
“Alice came to a fork in the road. ‘Which road do I take?’ she asked.
‘Where do you want to go?’ responded the Cheshire Cat.
‘I don’t know,’ Alice answered.
‘Then,’ said the Cat, ‘it doesn’t matter.”
This world has so many roads to take that you don’t even know where you want to end up. Philosophy is that road I stumbled across, where there is no destination. Yet it doesn’t matter to me that there is no end, I can walk this road of pondering and knowledge my whole life. This one road gives sanity to this seemingly insane place
Where we are is my wonderland. I feel like Alice surrounded by insanity and confusion, but there was this one cat that asked me where do I want to go, but I had no answer. Because I don’t want to end up somewhere, knowing all that I can know, I want to keep going and keep learning. Which is what I feel philosophy is, the never ending journey that will keep on adding to my life, giving me new perspectives and ways to process things in this world of madness.
