Can art be objectively good? – Discussion

I had a fantastic discussion with my group, consisting of William, Brian, Liam, Kyle and Dom.
The discussion worked very well as William and Dom argued that art can be objectively good in some regards, whereas Brian, Liam, Kyle and myself argued that there was no way for art to be universally accepted as good. We decided that although a piece of art can not be defined as good or bad as everyone has different opinions, you can rate the competency of it. A checklist can be used to rate the competency and skill of a piece’s construction.
